Activity Description

Individually, read the article “Language as the ‘Ultimate Weapon’ in Nineteen Eighty-Four” written by Jem Berkes in the year 2000. Afterwards, publish a blog entry as stated below.

Deliverables

In your course blog, publish an original blog entry of at least 300 words in English.

Reflect and write about this question: Why is the Nineteen Eighty-Four novel by George Orwell relevant to a student taking the Programming Language course? Use the previous reading as a starting point.

-90 The blog entry is mostly irrelevant.
-50 The blog entry consists of less than 300 words.
-100 The blog entry is not in English.
