Language Design Issues

Objectives

During this activity:

Students shall read about the main design issues related to programming languages and solve a crossword puzzle.

This activity helps the student develop the following skills, values and attitudes: self-learning, proficiency in English, ability to analyze, synthesize and evaluate, critical thinking, and a vision of the international context.

Activity Description

Individually, read the document titled “Language Design Issues” by Pratt and Zelkowitz. Print the crossword puzzle (PDF) and solve it. Hand it in at the beginning of the next class (Thursday, August 22).
